A secular ceremony at Château Barthélemy

Today I’m unveiling this wonderful wedding at Château de Barthélemy. Marion and Thibault chose this place to celebrate their union and say a big “YES”.

I fell in love with this magnificent place. Chateau Barthélemy is 1 hour from Paris, and is set in a vast park with trees over a hundred years old.

Preparations went perfectly, with the men on one side and the women on the other. Champagne and atmosphere were the order of the day!

We followed up with a heartfelt lay ceremony . Memories, tears and beautiful speeches are always a wedding photographer’s delight. I was delighted to be able to immortalize all these emotions and unique moments in the life of this couple.

The cocktail party then took place on the banks of a small pond in the heart of the château. And as usual, we waited until the end of the cocktail party to take a little time out for a couple’s photo shoot. The sun wasn’t out, but that doesn’t detract from the charm of these shots.

Following this session, the evening was launched by the entrance of the bride and groom. A convivial moment punctuated by a few games organized by the bride and groom’s witnesses and video projections.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s a summary of this magnificent day.
