A rustic wedding in Meux in the Oise, France

I am pleased to present the wedding of Audrey and Simon with a rustic theme and a simple and elegant decoration. The celebrations took place on a family property in Meux, Oise. A symbolic place because it was also the wedding place of their relative.

I met this young couple nine months before their D-day and they were very thorough with the organization and super meticulous on the details. Audrey loves to organize and plan. AND when it comes to her own wedding, she didn’t do things by half. She even confessed to me that she was dreaming of becoming a Wedding Planner after this experience.

Let’s get back to the organization of this day! In order to avoid a busy day. Audrey and Simon preferred to plan the civil ceremony two weeks before the D-day in the beautiful hall of the 7th arrondissement town hall, in Paris. A ceremony that took place in an intimate atmosphere and allowed me to have a first taste before the big day.

We also organized a small couple photo session three days before the big day on the same wedding location. A nice way to get the bride and groom in the picture so that they could get familiar with my lens. For this kind of photo session, we have the chance to choose the hour as well as the setting. A beautiful sunset and a beautiful light were there.

It’s finally the D-day! Temperatures approaching 40 degrees forced the organizers to place a tent on the site of the secular ceremony. A special mention for the photo session with the boys and bridesmaids through which we all had a great time

Congratulations Audrey and Simon for this beautiful wedding. Long live the bride and groom !
