An Autumn Wedding at Moulin de Launoy

Emma and Maximilian’s wedding at the Moulin de Launoy was a true celebration of love, embraced by the gentle beauty of autumn and the magic of this unique location. This 18th-century mill, full of charm and history, provided the perfect setting for a day rich in emotions and unforgettable moments.

When Emma contacted me to photograph her wedding with Maximilian, I was instantly excited to join them on this adventure. And for good reason: Emma is a dancer, and Maximilian is a stuntman. Their love story began on a film set in France, a setting as unique as it is romantic. I couldn’t wait to meet this extraordinary couple and discover their world.

A few weeks before the big day, we met in Paris over a drink. Emma, an American, and Maximilian, Franco-English, immediately struck me with their simplicity, authenticity, and above all, the love that overflows between them. I knew their wedding would reflect who they are: sincere, moving, and unforgettable.

The big day arrived at the Domaine du Moulin de Launoy, a charming venue I was already familiar with. This 18th-century mill, filled with history and emotion, offers a bucolic and authentic setting. But this time, I discovered it in the heart of autumn. The warm colors of the season, combined with a day of mild temperatures and a clear blue sky, added a touch of magic.

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. After the preparations, it was time for the secular ceremony, officiated by Emma’s brother and one of her best friends. An American-style ceremony: short, yet incredibly moving, filled with tears and smiles.

The cocktail that followed was a reflection of them: simple and warm. In a laid-back atmosphere, several artists among the guests delivered spontaneous musical performances, adding a unique energy to the moment.

Then came the couple’s photo session during the golden hour. With their spontaneity and natural ease in front of the camera, Emma and Maximilian gave me unforgettable moments to capture. Every shared smile and tender gesture told a story of sincere love, full of sweetness and complicity.
